Our New Home

Greetings Brothers & Sisters in Christ

For 9 years we have labored at Texas AME Church to become builders for Christ. With God being our helper, we have replaced the roof, the porch, upholstered furniture, painted, replace all lighting fixtures, improved the sound system and the list goes on.

On January 5th, 2020, we began our journey towards becoming wise builders for Christ! We broke ground!

Such as our ancestors, who afforded us over a century of worship through their sacrifice to leave an inheritance for their children’s children’s children, we felt it was time for us to do the same!

Texas A.M.E Church is rich in history!

From our great Zion, which in years past served as a school, has come a Bishop, Tuskeegee Airman, Presidential honoree, and various college graduates that are planted throughout this great land.  

On this journey we were met with many challenges! A pandemic that sky-rocketed construction material, postponement of building, along with other obstacles! But to God Be the Glory, we remained faithful and pressed forward!

Coming soon we will be able to worship in His new building! We are not just building a place of worship but we intend to build God’s people by being a resource to the community. We aspire to go beyond the 4 walls of this building and extend our reach into the community. We intend to be DOERS as well as HEARERS of the Word. We have a motto “Each One Reach One”. We are here to” make a difference” and “be the difference” in somebody’s life.  We believe that “God is” all we need, “God will” do all but fail, and ” God can” do the impossible.

We invite you to join us in our journey to be Builders for Christ, not a visible building but a building not made by man’s hands..but by the Master builder – God-understanding it is His building, His work, His way, In His timing for His Glory!
